Keith_Priscilla Smaller SMALLERSenior Pastor, Keith Parker writes a blog entry each week. You can also find this printed on our weekly bulletin. This week’s blog deals with finding God’s Plan and Purpose for Your Life:

Isaiah, the great prophet of the Old Testament, had a monumental job in front of Him to fulfill the plan and purpose of God for his life. The Word of God says in Isaiah 55:11, “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Do you believe God’s Word will be accomplished in your life? Every word of the Bible will be fulfilled if you’re submitted to the will of God. We see what happens in the Bible on the Day of Pentecost when over 3000 people get saved, but it is clear that Pentecost was not a complete fulfillment of Joel’s prophecy as mentioned in Acts 2:16-20.

What does Joel’s prophecy means to me? One thing I do know, for believers of Jesus Christ the best is yet to come, but for unbelievers the worst is yet to come. That’s factual, whether we like it or not! God knew you would be right here reading this blog before the foundations of the world were ever created. The plan and purpose for your life is just as important as anyone else’s.

If you do not know your assignment from God, then get down on your knees and start praying. God needs you right now to fulfill His purpose and God needs you to help usher in His presence so that we, this generation, can fulfill His purpose and see the outpouring of His Holy Spirit upon all flesh. Wow…the outpouring of His Spirit!

Friends, this is going to be a time like you have never seen before. Can you imagine all the signs, wonders, and miracles that will be upon us? God could be waiting on you! My prayer for you is that God would give your ears to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. God bless you this Christmas as we celebrate the birth of Jesus!
